Fan Xpert 3 - CPU fan switches off on startup

Hi all,

 

I recently got a Asus Z97I-Plus motherboard, and installed the AI suite to control my fans in my case. I noticed that on boot the fans spin up to max speed and back down, which is normal behavior (?) but when I reach the Windows login screen the CPU fan is completely off.

 

Is this a bug? If so, how can I stop it from happening? My fan profiles aren't configured to turn any fans off so surely this shouldn't happen? I'm just a bit worried it could cause some overheating on boot and ruin my 4690K.

I've seen this happen with my Asus Z97-I when I use FanExpert3 it shuts off all fans at times based on temperature.  You can set all fans to be on at set speeds if you like through AI Suite.
