Skype Moto G

When i talk through skype, moto g lcd turns on and off, and skype crashes after about 7 minutes of talking every time. Could somebody help me in this?

Maybe turn off the power saving/auto shut down feature?

I think it is that sensor which turns off screen when you have phone to your ear. But that doesn't explain crashes.
