I recently bought the CoolerMaster Universal Vertical Gpu Holder Kit VER.2. Installation went fine, I did a bunch of benchmarks and performance looked a few points and fps lower but nothing worth worrying about. However, as soon as a game or other 3D application would launch, I would lose my internet connection (using the mobos onboard wifi). My pc could still see my router ssid but it lost internet connection. The games themselves would run fine. As soon as I would exit, connectivity returned within seconds. I ended up removing the vertical mount and all was working fine again. So my question is, is it just a compatibility issue? Maybe a faulty cable? Or is there some Bios setting I should change that I'm not aware of? My full system specs are in the signature. I have the latest Bios for my mobo & the pcie option in it was set to Gen3. -

Looking at his video comments, it looks like he is full of shit. Which always make me wonder how much I can trust them to inform me about things I don't know anything about. The answer of course is not much. Always double and tripple check.

They seem to have bad feelings towards Linus in general. The same goes for Joker & his show partner too btw They try to subtly or not so subtly show it quite often.

Anyone watched their latest episode 0239? It starts at around 23:17 where they more or less imply Linus is being dishonest about the recent hack and the transparency video. They also seem to be confused about the hack, thinking it was because of Linus live streaming his password on the Wan show. Am I remembering wrong, didn't the twitter hack come before the password streaming?

Suggestions needed for new SSD & how to use the old one

Good suggestions so far. It also occurred to me that I might use the old ssd to put Linux on it. It's been a few years since I last tried to mess with it. -
I've been using a 64GB 830 for a while and I think it's time for an upgrade. The ssd will be a boot drive, somewhere to install my applications & games. Regular stuff like that. These seem to be my choices based on budget & GB. Which one would you guys recommend ? As far as the Samsung drives go, do they still have issues with slowing down or did the firmware updates eliminated all problems? I'd also like to see if there's anything useful I can do with the old 64GB 830. Can it be used as some kind of cache to speed up my hdds ?

I would probably get it a lot sooner too but I opted to go with the standard mail shipping. The super fast shipping cost almost 3 times the money of the skin itself to ship to Europe so it wasn't really worth it . It's a good thing dbrand has the cheaper option available too for us over on the other side of the world, even if it takes a little longer.
