K1ng

Getting up to 4.7ghz boost on my Ryzen 5 2600 system. Have other people been getting near this?

BTW The system stays boosted around 3.7ghz all the time i have no overclock running just the latest firmware from gigabyte and it has been doing this. No complaints.

I would be interested to know how long those clock speeds can be held for. It’s likely a short burst of a single core, I haven’t heard of Zen+ reaching much above 4.3-4.4 on all cores. But who knows, maybe you got a golden sample.

It's an incorrect software reading.  I'd recommend using HWiNFO.

That doesn't seem right at all, probably just a weird glitch, you aren't actually boosting to 4.7 ghz

Try using the PSU Tier List!

I can pretty much guarantee that 4.7GHz isn't accurate.  Sometimes 3DMark will do the same thing.

ok well im still happy with the performance i am getting for now compared to what it was whether its a real reading or not But im going to leave HWiNFO on for a long time and see if it ever peaks to there. It is odd that my system usually sits around 3.7-3.8 currently and if i did hit 4.7 its pretty awesome i never got above 54c but i do have two 540mm rads lol

It won't.  I don't wanna ran on your parade, but I am more concerned that you have the right expectations.  The only times I have seen a Ryzen system with those reported speeds is when someone is using 3DMark or HWMonitor.  3DMark has reported my speeds incorrectly when using a manual overclock so I was positive it was wrong.

With that said the important thing is that you're happy with your system's performance.
