Ram for Vram

Is there a way i can use system ram as a sort of page file for my gpu. i am not conserened about latency or things like that i just need more than a gig of vram.

It's an option in Task Manager though only some graphics cards show up there.

It is in task manager, under the "performance" and then "GPU".

i dont get that view in windows 7 is it a new addition or am i looking the wrong menue
