Streaming/Gaming headset and Mic

Go to solution Solved by Agonizel,

For the mic, I use a RODE NT-USB https://www.amazon.com/Rode-NT-USB-USB-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B00KQPGRRE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1543087028&sr=8-2&keywords=rode+ntusb

It requires no mix table, nor does it require a software or some kind of special input. It's just a plug & play USB microphone. It comes delivered with a quite stylish pop filter.
I personally own it, and the quality is really nice. I use some 15€ mic arm that does the job absolutely fine.

The USB cable is really loooooooooong (around 4m I'd say), so don't worry about that!

I use a Corsair VOID 7.1 Wireless headset. But there are many other good headsets out there such as the arctic 7, the HyperX's, ...

I was looking at the Corsair Wireless HS70. It looks comfortable and sleek, it's wireless, and it has a detachable mic.

I think the detachable mic would be cool because I was thinking of buying the Antlion Modmic and plugging it directly into the headphones' open 3.5 jack. I didn't know if that would offer good audio though. The normal mic is meh, so I don't know if the jack is high quality or not. Since it is a wireless headset, I don't want to just add a wire from my headset to my pc.

I would also be open to buying a mic like the AT2020.

I'm getting my recommendations from this video:

Since the video is kind of old, I was wondering if you'd have any other suggestions. my budget is around 200 dollars. I'd be using these to stream, but besides that, gaming every day. I might also use some FL studio, so I would like some good sound in all tasks. I've never actually bought headphones so I'm being as specific as possible.

Thank you all very much. This forum is super helpful whenever I have a question!

Preciate the recommendation! A little pricey though. But for a good mic, I might have to go big.

I've worn those, they're a little too flimsy for me. They fall off my head easily. Thx for those recommendations as well!
