Hi!

So yesterday I bought my first build from newegg.

I chose the R5 2600, and went with the stock cooler. Anyone knows how far can I push it? No need for above 3.8Ghz, want to get the longest life out of it possible.

The build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7d23MZ

Thanks!

You might be able to get 4.0 on stock voltage, but 3.8 is pretty easy to get without a voltage bump. Just get into your bios and dial in a x38 all core ratio and you should be good to go.
