Hi, I bought an additional GTX 1080TI for my configuration today.

 

I have this SLI bridge included  with my motherboard:

 

9-C236100-750-A-4-F9-C-8-E52-AE8-D6-C359

 

Can you tell me, i need another one like this for 2way SLI ?

Or do I need buy a new one like that ?

That’s a high bandwidth bridge. Recommended for the 10 series and high resolution.

You can do any option, run one, run two or get th fancy bridge. Won’t really matter.

What do you mean by "no matter" ?

So what for are these two SLI slots on 1080TI ?

You can do what ever you want. One bridge. Two bridges or a high bandwidth bridge. 

 

Originally they designed them to support 3/4 way sli. Thus you need two fingers.

 

If you think your system can achieve the supposed 2-3 frame increase from two bridges or a high bandwidth bridge, get one.

No I didn’t. I don’t have a cpu strong enough to handle to cards in any test. 

 

But plenty of youtubers have. The page you’re on for instance, had a video covering this.
