Alienware ram

 Share

Hello, i have an alienware r3 with the stock 2X4GB of 2133 mhz ram. I want to upgrade to 16GB but i was wondering if it would support higher frequency ram. If you have any knowledge concerning the matter it would be highly appreciated.

what are the specs of it? i highly doubt a mobile cpu can take advantage of higher frequency ram... an iGPU maybe (not sure there either) but since you have an alienware i should hope it has a dGPU

assuming you have the one with the 6-series cpu you can't go any higher than 2133
