i know its probably very unlikely but are there any key switches that are similar to rubber dome?

for example - i absolutely love the feel of them while typing on my laptop, and when i switch to a desktop my typing is horrid..

i was thinking if there was a keyboard with low profile keys that is mechanical rather then rubber dome as my experience with rubber dome is they dont last a long time.. ive had the keys fall of any everything :/

i saw the razer black widow ultimate which looks like its what i want but im not to sure, can someone please verify or supply links if they know of any

there are clear key switches...but I think you just haven't adjusted to typing on a mechanical keyboard, as now my typing sucks whenever I use a rubber dome keyboard anywhere else :P

probably, i just like the low keys and all on the same level, i can type faster, more accurately because my fingers dont need to be lifted up as far to move to the next key :L

again, that's just getting used to how high the keys are, I had to adjust to that aswell, as I was way to used to just sliding my fingers down when I typed things with a "th", I'd just slide my fingers down, now I personally just type out each keystroke.

Yeah you also have to change the position you hold you hands when you type, but it's actually good because you will have a more proper posture when typing.

ill definately have to adjust somehow as im left handed, really good at using touch pad(not very good with mouse atm) for playing games, just swapped out wasd to arrow keys and i was set! no one believes me when i say i use touchpad for games :S

bad move with the arrow keys there as the reason wasd is used is the keys around it can be used arrows are normally alone and hard to hit others things fast so you may want to look around for a different layout that people recommend for left hand.

(also left handed but never used a mouse left handed but do used a track pad left handed lol)

i find it easy, i use my mouse hand to switch etc, i dont play fps much if at all so its nothing like that.. games id play are similar to runescape (probably bad example), where you primary use mouse to move and arrow keys to move camera, or for example diablo 3 where quick key taps only matter for skills, while others are just for healing or quick chat, inventory etc

that maybe the case now but if anything changed it may take you some time to even try to adjust. I know a guy that has been messed up on keyboard binds from when he started gaming on a friends computer and has all his bind keys in a straight line lol

if it works for you go with it but just take it into consideration that it may be a good idea to change that up before to long in case you start playing other types of games
