Headset Recommendation

Hello good people and Audiophiles! I am in the game for a new headset for gaming and occasional music and movie watching. Give me your recommendations please.... but first a few things about me. I have moderate hearing loss due to my time in the military with what I would call a fairly severe case of Tinnitus. If you do not know what Tinnitus is, its a constant ringing in the ears.. or as I like to explain, sounds like a leaking air hose from an air compressor. Its been so bad at times that its actually caused me vertigo and disoriented me and took me 30-45s to recover from it. From the hearing loss, I cant hear real high pitches, and lower bass is muffled and hard to understand at times. Hopefully this helps define it.

So with that said, sound quality is a MUST. Even though I may not hear everything clean, crisp and perfect like most, I still value what hearing I do have left and want to maximize my experience as much as I can. I do play a lot of games on both PC and PS4 so having the ability to connect to both is extremely high on my list, but not 100% necessary as I can just adapt my Astro A40s to 100% PS4 instead.

Comfort. I can/do wear my headphones for upwards of 10+hrs a day at times so I need a set that will not give me a headache or cause any pressure or pain due to prolonged wear, I do wear glasses. I also consider comfort to be no ear sweat as well, so I would prefer cloth over leather ear cups, but this is not a deal breaker if the set is legit the best out there.

Open vs Closed. They must be closed as I do play some competitive games at times such as Black Ops, PUBG etc where hearing accuracy is key and minimizing IRL environment noise is crucial. Cant have my Air conditioner kick in at the end circle causing me to not hear the enemy pushing me or my wife coming up and trying to talk to me when I'm in a high pressure situation that requires my attention.

Wired vs Wireless: I would prefer to go wireless and lose the cord as a personal preference, but I know nothing can replace the response and accuracy of a wired connection. I am open to suggestions on either front.

Price: Price isn't really a problem, but would prefer to keep it under 300$ unless you can prove to me that the experience is vastly superior to justify the price tag.

MIC: non issue if the headset is only for PC. I am a streamer so I have an external MIC I use for all voice chat and stream chat on PC. If the headset is both PC and console, then a MIC is necessary and should be of decent quality sounding for party chat on PS4.

Thanks for taking the time to read my list. I know its got a few things listed, but its the only few things I really know. I am not an audiophile so I am coming to those who know this stuff the best to help me find what suits me based on my needs/wants above. I look forward to your answers.
