I'm in the market for my 1st ever Mechanical Keyboard.

I use my PC almost exclusively for gaming.

I was looking at the Corsaire K95 RGB but it's Very expensive.

 

I'd like :-

Quiet and smooth mechanical keys,

Backlit,

Standard UK layout plus 6 or more Macro programmable keys on the left.

Mute and Volume +/- keys.

Decent build quality.

With mechanical keyboards its worth paying a little more.

you can buy a sample kit of the various switches to try off of amazon which i would suggest to every one get since preference to the different switch type can change.

The Logitech G710+ seems to have all of this.

Thanks. That looks like just the kind of thing I'm looking for but I guess it must have been out of production for a while now. None of the main retailers sell it.

I've found a used one on Ebay for £50 which I'm a bit reluctant to buy as it could have been mashed for many years.

Staples sells it in store. Amazon also has it.
