Hi I am building a new PC for my job and to game.

1. Budget & Location

I live in the United States. My maximum budget is $4500 but I would prefer if you tried to stay under $4100. Also, I like to shop from Newegg.com so check the prices there if you can please.

2. Aim

This computer will be used mainly for my work. I work with AutoCAD Architecture, Revit, 3ds Max Design, and Sketchbook Pro. I would also like to be able to play games like Skyrim with many mods at the highest settings, and Battlefield 4 with Ultra settings and AA turned down a little.

3. Monitors

I would like to work on two monitors but I only need one monitor to game on. I already have a Wacom Cintiq 13HD so you don't have to worry about including a graphic tablet in the list. I would like to upgrade to 4K in the future when it gets more popular or when 8K devices get released and 4K prices go down (they will). I would like to have my monitors be higher than 1920x1080 or 1920x1200. I'd prefer something like 2560x1440 or 2560x1600.

4. Peripherals

I'd prefer a Logitech mouse (G602) and a good gaming keyboard (Cherry MX Brown but Blue is okay).  I already have a 3dconnexion SpaceMouse Pro so don't add any 3D mice to the list. I already have a copy of Windows 8.1 Pro so that is okay as well. I already have a set of Razer Kraken Forged headphones.

5. Why are you upgrading?

I am upgrade because a Dell Inspiron 531s isn't just doing the job (AMD Sempron LE-1250 2.2 GHz) so I need something new.

6. Other

I want this build to be quiet (don't mind buying sound dampening material for the case). I want the case to be black or black and grey (no red green and blue and all of that). Different case fans (Noctua fans are fine but if possible, go for another quiet high airflow fan because they are UGLY). I don't mind having a Quadro and a GeForce card in the same build because I already know how to configure them properly (I did it on my friends build) but if you suggest a Radeon and a FirePro, you will have to help me out with that. I also don't mind getting a sound card but if you suggest one, suggest a mic too. I'd like to stay air cooled but if you can find a good, all-in-one, quiet water cooling solution, go for it. I also work from home so don't be afraid to suggest something giant.

$4100.... I would reccomend a nvida quadro card which is like 5g's... but lol, thats more than your max of the whole build would be....

You could get like two 780ti's and like a 9000 series card or overkill like that for 4k >:P

How will ECC and several cores affect his work performance?

More stable and more power for rendering.

@The PC Enforcer Is there anything you're doing that specifically needs a workstation card to funtion?
