so im looking to build a PC, however i finally decided to just buy an optiplex or other prebuilt and just change the PSU, add more RAM if necessary, and add a GPU

so if my budget is $200 for the optiplex (leaving about $300 for everything else) that is a $500 budget build.. however i am good with spending more on optiplex and less on other things OR less on an optiplex and more on the other things

thanks

You need to look at the series Linus was doing with Riley, where they used a Dell workstation and made an entry level gaming PC out of it. And they definitely spent way less than your budget...

Honestly you could build a complete system for $500

but the one they build got gaming performance i do not wanna run because i am a youtbuer / streamer

so should i just build one from scratch and use a 2200g for now then add an rx 580 or something later?
