I'm using the discord app for windows 10 and when I go into the audio tab and select my headphones, they just don't work. The other option for my speakers work though. My headphones also work fine in any other application including the web version of discord. Any ideas/fixes?

discord respects the per-app device access settings.

open settings (the gear icon) => privacy => microphone

and then verify that the master slider is turned on.

I don't see the microphone option under privacy

Oh okay, I thought you meant in discord settings. I already have this on, but in the place where you can choose which apps are allowed, discord does not show up.

thats normal.. for some weird reason..

anyways.. mind sharing what sort of headphones we're talking about?

They are a bluetooth reciever strapped onto some razer krakens. It works fine with everything else, just discord.

I did it, and it still has the same problem. I also noticed that whenever I join a voice channel, all other noises cut out.

it's gonna be some exclusive mode-type nonsense, but i really cant give yoy any more direction.
