ssd Help With SSD's!

I am looking to get an ssd for my rig which is about 11 months old, so a fairly new gaming rig and right now I have 2 mechanical drives with 3Tb of storage I am looking for a m.2 ssd for my computer and wanted to know if anyone could give me a step by step guide on how I would be able to boot from the ssd and move game files over to the ssd, also if anyone thinks I should get a samsung drive or corsair, Thanks!

Step 1: install Windows fresh on the drive

Step 2: reinstall games

Step 3: Google where the game files are kept

Samsung.  Corsair is more expensive and has a stupid name.  Force?  Really?

Right but still more expensive than Samsung for some reason.  What differentiates it?

It's real fast. Also, "more expensive than Samsung' but Samsung makes the 860, 870, 960, and 970, and all Evo and pro.

I was basing it on the versions I can find on Amazon.  For example...

 

Force MP500 480GB NVMe - $288

970 EVO 500GB NVMe - $117

 

Force 500GB Sata - $174

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB - $79

 

They do have the Force MP300 480GB NVMe for $89 but it's the 1600/sec flavor, not the 3200/sec flavor.  Good bang for buck between the 860 and 970.

Well at that point Samsung is way better. I had no idea the force series inflated so much

Force mp used MLC nand as oppose to 3D TLC nand that samsung used.

MLC nand are suppose to be more expensive than TLC.

I've had bad experience with corsair especially when they used sandforce controller, it suddenly died on me.

if the Force's MLC NAND is better than Samsung's, why does the Force use the same or more overprovisioning than the Sammy's TLC NAND? MLC SSDs in the neighborhood of 500GB normally are 512GB and TLC SSDs are usually 500GB. Manufacturers of inferior drives often increase overprovisioning to compensate for having cells die prematurely. They will show capacities of 500GB got MLC and 480 for MLC.
