Hello,

So I have a brand-spanking new ASUS Maximus XI Hero & Intel Core i9 9900K.

Since I don't use programs that use AVX that much I thought I'd overclock the CPU to 5GHz with an offset of 3 on AVX.

The issue I'm having when doing this is that when running something like Prime95 or Cinebench the CPU clock speed starts out at 5GHz but after a few seconds then drops to an abysmal 3.5GHz.

As soon as I turn off AVX offset they run fine again, but I get a bluescreen from running Prime95 for too long.

With AVX I was running 1.3V and without 1.325V. I'd rather have the lower voltage and AVX offset than pushing up voltage more for performance I won't really use.

Maybe someone knows what's up here.

Thanks in advance for any help.
