First let's start with the system spec:
(laptop)
- i7-8750h
- GTX 1060 6gb

- 16gb dddr4

One of my cpu core/thread hit 90% usage while gaming, is this normal? I know video games only use single core but why at 90% load? The game that i'm playing is an online MMORPG, is this the case?

That sounds about right. Some games use just one core.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

Have you noticed performance drops or low gpu usage? If not, it's fine.

I think it's because the game itself, poor optimization...

What game is it? Perhaps its just an old game that uses only 1 core, and just doesnt need all the power your 1060 has to offer.

Dragon nest, it's very old and I have SweetFx on too.

so, I've tested with other games, and seems like Dragon Nest is the only one that put 90% load on one core...
