So my house just burned down and insurance is going to cover everything. That means I now have $3000 to spend on a new computer. What do u think is the best build for this price. The build also has to include headphones, a keyboard and mouse, and a monitor. The only thing I really care about in terms of the part list is that the case is an Evolv X because I love that case.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

How about a Ryzen cpu ?

You would need to add the peripherals, and obviously no price listed for the case but it should all easily fit into the budget.

A much better 1440p 165Hz G-Sync to make use of the RTX 2080.

You can't overclock on that chipset. You need Z370 or Z390.

Might want to look at changing the psu. The G3 supposedly has a few issues.

Still has a bad monitor for that high end gpu. The one in my list is much better.

Cause at the moment it isn't worth the cost but I will later.

That doesn't make sense. You should match the gpu to the monitor. No point getting an RTX 2080 or 1080 ti and then going with an inferior screen. If you want to stick with that 75Hz one then get a cheaper gpu like a 1070 ti.

With a $3000 budget though there is no need to skimp on the monitor.

The budget needs to be 3000 after tax and I still need to a chair and a desk

I am somewhat confused. You just posted a spec that comes to $2385 which includes a Mouse and Keyboard which you said you are going with. The build I posted is $2165 so $220 cheaper. Even if you add the same Keyboard and Mouse it works out cheaper than your list.

It may be cheaper but

1. I want overclocking support

2. I had ryzen in my previous build and had some issues and it was less optimized.
