Help Corsair LL120 & node

Hi guys I’ve put six LL120s into my case and attached them to the node by the RGB wire but what are the second wires from each fan for? Do I ignore them and hide them or are they required?

Your third picture is of the fan power, your first picture is of the RGB cable. Only the power is required to function, but it will be without lights if you leave the RGB cable out.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Shit so how do I power all these fans? I thought they would get power from RGB lines since the hub and node both have SATA power connectors

With customisabile rgb fans they have 2 cables. The fan power (what powers the spinning fan) and the RGB Header (what powers and controls the lights. The Fan power (the thicc one) should be plugged into your motherboard. And your RGB header (the thin one) should be plugged into your NODE pro (or commander pro).

I would suggest getting a Commander Pro. It is also by Corsair and its basically a bigger version of the Node. If you have a Corsair Cooler or Fans you will have more control over them.

U could daisy chain but not advisable.

 

One splitter per header i'd say and with most new boards u get atleast 4 headers which would make for 8 fans which would be more than ample.
