Screen flickering.

Sooo recently i have been noticing my pc screen will flicker from time to time. When doing tasks of light loads. So browsing or going through folders. I have yet to experiance it during gaming except for CS where i get stutters (different story). So before i do any major troubleshooting i was wondering could this be my card dying or an unstable driver.

 

OS:Windows 10 64 bit

GPU: R9 290x

Ram: 8GB 3200mhz

120GB SSD

x2 1TB HDD's (Seagate and Western Digital)

do you use google chrome by any chance?

I do use google chrome but it like the whole screen gets jolted down a bit then resets

i had this problem with my rx 580, i had to turn hardware acceleration off in chrome options, that fixed it for me.
