Hi,

I'm about to change the cooler on a watercooled 680 and instal back the reference cooler. Is it ok to use  the thermal pads that came with the reference cooler which I stored when I first put a waterblock on the card or should I get new thermal pads?

Thanks for the quick answer. I just wondered if they make contact as well as when they were new? I'm selling the card and the last thing I need is the buyer having to send it back.

The contact should be pretty close to stock. Not enough to worry about. If you are worried, then put a load on the card when you get it back together and see how she does. Some cards will allow you to check memory and vrms temps, not sure if yours will?  You can use GPU-Z or HWinfo
