Main bios corrupted

Hi, just to give you guys some background, I tried to turn my pc on but it didn’t boot, the debug led lights up on CPU and no boot. Found a fix, switching to  the backup bios, booted, everything is fine. Narrowed the problem to bios. And the question is how can I flash the main bios from the backup bios? And can a bios randomly fail like mine did? I didn’t do anything to the bios.

 

motherboard is gigabyte X470 gaming 7

Im sure i read somewhere about a few of these boards dying at the launch because of dodgy Bios's.

 

My advice is try and look on the Gigabyte forums for help there would be the best place to turn to for instructions especially detailed instructions if u dont really know what it is u may have to do.

I must say that I have seen several Gigabyte motherboards from 2nd generation up to 4th generation intel with binary corruption problems after installing Windows10 and they always had a solution. But if these systems started, which they rebooted constantly, they did not load the operating system. consisted in putting the BIOS update in a flash memory formatted in FAT32 and update it when it was possible from the SETUP itself. It was almost impossible because it restarted constantly but at some point it stopped doing the work and then it was updated and the problem was solved .

This work I did to a friend about a month ago to a B75M-D3H, which decided to upgrade from Windows7 to Windows10.

But, they are old configurations, it is really interesting that this still happens.

The BIOS update is compressed you have to put it in the decompressed flash, for example in the X470 Gaming 7 WiFI is the file 470AG7W.F5, this is the important one.
