Need an opinion

ArcticEngineer

Hello, just wanted to ask if a gtx 1080 strix is worth 300$ there is a listing on Craigslist and I just want to know if it’s worth it for 300, especially for a strix edition.

Yep, 1080s go for around 350, so that's not bad at all (looks over at 1070 Ti I got for $350)

GPU prices fell off a cliff after miners started selling their gear, I bought a 970 for $220 8 months ago and sold it for just over $100.

That's the weird part. 3-4 months ago the crypto hype was over on the gpu side. But a while later the 2000 series came out. And dutch pricing in general sucks. You can count on that its way more expensive to buy here then the us, or even canada

That is really odd. I don't actually know how places like the EU have such expensive parts, but somehow they do.
