yeah, insult me all you want, but I downloaded Minecraft the other day cuz I wanted to play it. 

First time I started it up it worked fine.

Next time I started it up it crashed. And the next time. And the next time.

Basically I can't open it up without it crashing. Sometimes it makes it to the menu, but when I click on something else it just crashes again.

Maybe it's a sign that my glory days of Minecraft ended years ago and I should stop trying to play it but I still wanna know why it keeps crashing.

Did you install any mods or texture packs?

Make sure to tag and/or quote people so they get notified... :P:D

I guess I'd try deleting all temporary files, checking java and re-installing it once more... ? 

Make sure to tag and/or quote people so they get notified... :P:D

bone stock minecraft?

 

uninstall all java you can find in control panel, and install specificly the 64 bit version of java 8:

https://www.java.com/nl/download/manual.jsp

 

that'd be a good first step.

Do i download the offline 64 bit or just the online?
