Can't SLI

xolse

Recently updated the bios on my x79 deluxe mb. After that my 2nd gpu wont run at x16 and would only go to x4.  Before I would have the option of enabling sli in nvidia settins but it wont allow me anymore. I've tried running other pcie slots at gen 1 and 2 but no avail.

Never change a running system dude.

Maybe there's an BIOS option where you can set the PCIE slot back to x16 mode.

Well id go back one version of the bios then. Sounds like that's when it stated.

I had this issue before but I would perform a clean install of the drivers and it would be fine.

ok i figured it out. had to move the card one slot down to make it work. i guess the bios updated changed somethings around. also used a new bridge so its one of the two.
