Getting a "Gaming-grade" headset is irrelevant. You could get an Audio Technica ATH-M50s if it's available in your country. That's the best headphones you could buy for less than $150 USD. If it's not $150, so long as it wouldn't go above your budget you should be fine.

You should also pair that up with a sound card or a portable headphone amp so you'll get it's full potential. ;)

the M50s wouldnt be good for fps games. the sound stage is very narrow but the sound quality is great. i suggest the HD 558. all around great headphones. its open eared with bass. cant go wrong with that.

Love to see another Dane :) I have a pair of pc360 and loving them. Really good sound. Nice bass and the mic is awesome.

Also have a Soundblaster Z to drive them.
