so i'm looking for cheap ip cameras that i could connect (looking at 4 cameras atm) witch would record stuff to NAS and would have motion detection recording trigger

it would also help if anyone could share a video that explains how setup multi camera survalance/ live feed thing.
from the bits and pieces i saw and learned i could setup one IP camera and have a rough idea on how to set up that it would record to NAS but nothing concrete so real setup videos would help  a lot.

only reason i'm asking is that most of the camers have their own software that comes with them , so i'm wondering if i should use that one , or get an all in one some kind of software

I don't know of any, but maybe go the DIY way with a Raspberry PI zero (W)and a camera module? The raspberry pi zero W is a $10 WiFi Linux PC, that you can add a 1080p camera to and configure it however you like. You can also buy a USB ethernet adapter and use a cable if you like, they are like $3 on ebay. And the camera can be had for $6 on ebay too. Making it $16 for a wifi camera. You can also choose the non WiFi Raspberry PI zero, which is $5, and have a wired camera for only $11.

You still need an enclosure, but dome(fake) cameras can be modified to fit real camera and are cheap.

Here a video:

Those are very hard to find, most I have used required digging deep into the firmware to have it safe to a network drive, and some even needed custom firmware.
