Technically, yes. It is a application of the principles behind phase cancellation. However, Unless it is in a very controlled environment it isn't going to work well unless you take time to adjust settings, positioning, delays each time you want to use it.

 

It would be much easier to make your microphone sound better through proper technique, positioning and EQ than to try to use noise cancellation.
