1070 FE for 300 usd

You can find various 1070 ti cards for 400 usd

Im looking to upgrade my graphics card and I'm not sure what to get. My system is a bit dated and i plan on building a new system in the next 2-3 years. Im looking to buy a 27in 1440p monitor black Friday.  Id like to get a newer graphics card knowing that i might use it in my future build. This is my current gaming system

intel i7 4770k

ausus sabertooth z87

16 gig ddr3

2x sli gtx 660ti

Im just a casual gamer and mainly play assassins creed, far cry, mmo’s. I started playing star citizen wich made me realize i might need to upgrade my gpu at least. I was thinking of getting a gtx 1060 or 1070 .but not sure if its worth spending the money on a higher end gpu.

Right now 1070 ti prices are the same as a 1070, though I did see a used but in new condition 1070 founders edition for $300. Yes it is very much worth the money. And a 1060 will not be able to handle 1440p gaming

that's never bad to do if you know what you;re doing. I would also recommend a 1070 ti, 1080 ti or second hand 980 ti. just have a good cooler on both and not like the aero series from msi.
