hey guys in my system which is a i5 3470 i have a 8gbcorsair vengence rm 1866mhz which wont go above 1600mhz for some strange reason would i create any issues adding more ram as i have some patriot ram 3 sticks of it which is also 1600mhz would i see any pros or cons from it

Adding more RAM would default all your memory to run at DDR3-1600. The benefit would be more RAM, no real downside.

okthank u the corsair in there seems to only run at 1600 anyway so no downsides is perfect for me lol i was just worried cos u hear about mixing ram is bad blabla blau know

RAM is RAM for consumer systems, it's only when you start to get into ECC memory and server/HEDT hardware that you really have to pay more attention.0
