UFD Released a vid saying that 2070,2080 and 2080ti cards are dropping like flies aka dying? 

I was intending to purchase a 2070

What's going on?

The news were only for the 2080ti cards, they claim that the rest are just fine. You can RMA the card if something happens with it anyways

yeah, but watch out with thermals, the cards are going to be hotter when there will be games that use the raytrace and tensor cores. so get something with good cooling

Apparently, yes. You're OK buying a 2080 too. Just make sure you're on the safe side by buying an open air type of card and check your temps under loads.

Well the golden trio are Gigabyte, Asus and EVGA so you won't mistake with taking any of them. Just don't buy blower type card.

No thanks blowers get super hot already on non rtx cards, usually ppl buy blowers just to custom liquid cool them.

For msi's 2070 I have to wait 3 weeks for stock, I could wait tho I wanna see the results from UFDs testing first

Well the host said they were going to test out the rtx cards to see what the 2080ti to die I wanna see if it'll effect the 2070s
