is 32 bit or 64 bit windows determined by the disk or the code I ask this because I have to wipe my HDD clean & I want my 64 bit Windows

Yes, you can't install it with a 32-bit disc and turn it into 64-bit.

Actually the code is irrelevant, it's just the installation disk that needs to be 64bit
