Orange mini-jack Ring/Top configuration

From my motherboard I have a orange jack out, which is for the subwoofer/center speaker. 
Now my question is, which speaker goes over what part of the jack? I can't find it anywhere online.

Which speaker goes over what part of the jack? I'm not sure I understand.

Do you mean what speaker cable?

As you can see in this image, the jack consist of 3 parts, usually the left speaker goes over the tip, the right over the ring and the ground over the sleeve. Since the subwoofer and center jacks don't have such an obvious configuration I am wondering which speaker travels over what channel.

Thank you for the clarification.

I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain the exact same signal is being sent to the sub and the center speaker.

What I mean is, I don't think it matters.

They are most definitely different signals.

I stand corrected.

To test I took a 3.5mm TRS to dual 6.35mm TS cable and plugged it into the orange port on my MOBO and then into my soundboard. The Sub signal is coming through the right channel and the middle speaker through the left. There is definitely some sort of low-pass filter being applied to the right channel, I'm not sure if that is built into the 5.1 audio files that I tested with or if it's on a hardware level.

Oké, so I figured it out. I put some stereo speakers over the jack, and if I played the subwoofer channel I got sound from the right speaker. So the subwoofer goes trough the ring, or the right channel (the red cable if you have tulp to minijack).

I guess you don't need to take my word for it lol

Well we came to the same conclusion, just about rules out any possibility of user error.
