MSI B450I + Ram Compatability

Hi All,

 

Im looking to buy this motherboard and RAM and a 2700x

Do you think it will be fine to run at 3000mhz even though its not explicitly on the supported list? or should i just stick to the supported list? 

 

The CMU16GX4M2C3000C15 is on the supported list and i think its just a refreshed/newer model.

I think you'll be fine. The chipset does support higher speed RAM so I don't see why it shouldn't work :)
