Hello peeps. I am finally in a position to orde my new PC after 2 years of bloody savings. These are the spec I got so far.

Case: CoolerMaster Cosmos C700P

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X

Mobo: Asus Rog Crosshair VII Hero

RAM: G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB DDR4-3200MHz

Power: Corsair HX Series HX850

CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML240R RGB

GPU: Asus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB Dual

Main Storage: Samsung 970 Evo NVMe M.2 500GB

Games Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 500GB

Data Storage: Seagate Barracuda 4TB

Sound: Creative Sound Blaster ZxR

Mouse: Logitech G403 Wireless

Keyboard: Corsair Strafe RGB Mechanical Cherry MX Red

Speakers: Edifier S530

UPS: APC BR1500G

So, I have 3 questions before I send the order. The PC will be used for gaming, movies and amateur video editing.

1. I don't play competitive games like CS:GO or LoL. I do play FPS games but not online (with few exceptions). So is it better to get 1440p 144Hz monitors or 4K for the better resolutions in games like Witcher, Assasin's etc? I am going to get 2 monitors. I am between  Samsung C32HG70 (Curved 32", HDR, 2560x1440, 1ms, 3000:1, 144Hz) and  Samsung U32H850 ( 31.5", 3840x2160, 4ms, 3000:1, 60Hz). Or if it doesn't give any problems I could get one of each and have the best of both worlds?

2. The UPS is 1500VA. Is it enough? I have no idea about UPS. I only care that in cases of power failure I can get like 3-4 mins to turn it off safely.

3. Since you guys know better, does this build have any bottlenecks? Is there anything I can switch so I can get better? Keep in mind that the RTX will be a gift so there is no point of telling me its expensive etc.

Thank you very much for any answers. Take care.

1. Just get one of each, but only plan on gaming on the higher refresh rate imo.

2. I have no clue, just google it

3. Nope, but there are a few things you could do if you want to improve fps because you'll just be gaming (unless you have some other purposes for the pc)

EDIT: also 2 ssds is dumb, I fixed it, but there might be other things i'd change too https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7fxY8Y (didnt include peripherals)

🙂
