yea so i was being general but specifically i need to know how powerful of a speaker amp i need to power the control box and headphones they are the sr-40

Apologies, I just thought you meant as a general overview

 

I do not know much about STAX headphones, but I am aware they aren't using typical connectors ect: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/stax-sr40.75519/
