Hey, im planning on buying a new computer. My budget is around the 1000$ and im planning on buying from Amazon. Newegg and etc.

The only parts that I need are CPU, Motherboard, PSU, RAM, A case, M.2 SSD.

I currently have a GTX 1070, x1 Sata SSD, x2 7.2k HDD and 2 60hz LED Monitors. (Probably upgrading to a 1080p 144hz monitor. NOT INCLUDED in this budget.)

Id like the build to be built around i7-8700, 16GB RAM 2666/2400 Mhz.

Would be nice to have a 1 strip of a blue LED in the case for a little bit of color.

Also Mobo's / RAM's with RGB wont matter to me. I'd rather save money.

Hey, as I said. Id like a 8700, not the k version.

Also, A 2666/2400 Mhz would be more than enough.

Id rather save money on the motherboard aswell, a Z370/H370 would be fine I think?

And the Sata SSD is only 120GB for the Windows, thats why I want a M.2

Your budget is more than enough for an 8700k and still have change left over, so might as well unless you're not overclocking.

That's the cheapest 16gb kit.

M.2 is just a form factor, doesn't perform any different from it's sata counterpart unless you get an nvme drive, which isn't needed for just gaming.

I see.

Well i'd be really happy if you could build around 8700 and 2666 since I just wanna save money :))

And thanks again.

Appreciate it. Really.

A question tho, is there a significant difference between B360 and H370?

I mean having an M.2 for his boot drive will be better than an SSD in terms of how fast windows will run, opening apps and etc.

technically no, a lot of it depends on what you'll be using it for. Mostly differences in ports, PCIE lanes and etc.

For gaming it Should roughly perform the same.

No. The difference between m.2 and regular SATA is negligible because a lot of the time the m.2 is using SATA protocol anyway.

@ViboraYou could have done it yourself, you seem to know what you want lul. M.2 is not worth the extra 10 dollars even. Someone who wants to save money is really happy to waste money on m.2.

I dont want the K version because Im just not into OC. With my luck with computers I wouldnt touch anything lmao.

I didnt want to build by myself since I didnt want to fuck up something so it would incompatible or anything like that.

A little question, any idea whats the difference between the Samsung Evo and Samsung Pro? they seem to have the same prices.

you get a few more features with H370, but not much else.

Well, it depends. I was referring to the PCIE based NVME M.2 Storage not the SATA based.

SATA and m.2 are often the same thing unless you get an nvme or pcie based protocol drive.

For gaming, you will be just fine with a regular SATA SSD.
