Headset Problems

I've had a HyperX Cloud alpha for about a year now, but recently I've been having some really annoying problems with it. It works fine most of the time, but sometimes while playing games and while in discord, I will stop hearing people an my mic will no longer work. It will appear as if a mic is no longer connected and I will not be able to speak through it in game but it will still work in programs like discord. I will also stop being able to hear people in game. They will be talking, but I won't see the icon that they are talking or hear them. This problem occurs randomly mid game, and fixes itself every time I start a new game. I'm not sure that these two problems are related, but this sort of happens in discord as well. My friends will still be able to hear me and my mic works, but sometimes I will stop hearing them mid call but the green circle around their picture will still appear. I have tried uninstalling audio drivers, and uninstalling and reinstalling rainbow 6, neither of these worked. I would really appreciate any help.

Does the microphone stop working at the same time which the audio is cut off or is the audio cutting off first and then the mic or is the microphone cutting out fist and then followed by the audio being cut off? I would try reinstalling your sound and microphone drivers and use some other headphone and/or microphone to actually show that the headphones that you are having is the source of the problem and not your computer. Also, when you listen to the audio is there any noticeable lag or popping sound within the audio (DPC latency) which is possibly causing the problem with playing back audio?
