SSD not detected by BIOS

I have an Intel 330 120GB SSD.After I came back from a one week trip the SSD is undetected by the BIOS.I tried a SATA to USB adapter it is also not detected.Any idea what happened?

Is it still under guaranty? You could RMA it

If replacing the SATA cable and port fails, then it is the SSD that crapped out. RMA it.
