Razer Blade 2018 Issues :(

NormalHades2604

Dear Forum users,

I recently bought a 2018 bade to replace my old PB laptop for work, but I have had a lot of issues with the thunderbolt/ usb c port. As when ever I plug my iPhone 7 Plus in then remove it using apple own usb c cable it blue screens my laptop every time without fail.

Any thoughts on what this issue could be?

Just a note I can't see the error issue as it reboots faster than my eye can see.

Could be an earthing fault in the cable, might be worth trying a different cable if you can to rule that out first.

Dear Chronified, Firelighter487 & Sky_Shark_101,

1) I have tried using iTunes eject for my iPhone but it still blue screens, I don't know another eject for iPhone is you do please let me know.

2) I have tried but it even is to fast for that.

3) I have had apple replace the cable twice and it still blue screens.

I have a feeling it might be a motherbord issue.

Hi NormalH

I am assuming you have tried this before but did have you followed those the steps before removing the cable ? Especially Step 2?

Step

Look at the status bar at the top of the iTunes window. Wait for any process to finish or click the "X" beside the status to stop the current process.

Step

Click the "Eject" button beside the iPhone in the list of devices. Wait for the iPhone's name to disappear.

Step

Safely disconnect the iPhone from the computer's USB port.

Step

Move the cursor to the upper right corner of the Windows 8 desktop and then drag it downward to reveal the desktop sidebar. If you have a touch screen, drag your finger to the right edge of the desktop. Select "Settings" and then "Change PC Settings."

Step

Select "Devices" and then select your iPhone from the list of devices. Click or tap the iPhone's "Remove" icon and then select "Remove."

Step

Safely unplug the iPhone from the computer.
