1080ti freezing problem

Hey guys,i bought used 1080ti 6months old with warranty,when i run pubg or benchmark it just freeze always in same sceen even with other PSU (which was 600w but it was bad one)

my specs
CPU: i7 2700k @3.4

16gb ddr3

PSU:BEQuiet 550W SystePower BN09, BQT S6-SYS-UA-550W

Are you overclocking the GPU at all?

 

What version of GeForce driver are you running?

 

have you run Display Driver Uninstaller and reinstalled the latest drivers?

 

I recall there being some discussion about PUBG and a certain GeForce driver problem some time ago.

GPU is running on stock
newst drivers ,manualy downloaded and installed with Display Driver Uninstaller,aswell with geforce expirience

it was aswell crashing in heaven benchmark tool

I am usiting it atm and its all normal surfing/listening youtubel,its just when i load my graphic card,i tryed heaven benchmark tool,pubg ,csgo and it always just freezes

I would try a different PSU. I had an issue in my server where the 1080 Ti would crash under any load, but it turns out my PSU went bad.

so there is no way its GPU fault for crashing?I am wondering becouse i bought it used.

It's possible, but that would be odd for a six month old GPU. But yeah, never know, your luck could just be bad.

Yeah, for me I had put my used 1080 Ti in my server but it would keep crashing, under any GPU render load. Indeed the PSU had gone bad (Or at least it didn't run well at higher load).

Okay thanks,i will tomorrow go to pc shop to check with new PSU
Btw. is it safe to use PC with this PSU and GPU atm or it could go something wrong

Here's the thing. GPUs either work, or they don't.

 

not as in, "hey i will POST your system, and i can perform small load stuffs, but if you put a heavy load on me i'm going to crash LOL!" but rather in "I turn it on, and i get black screen, no POST, like, at all." vs "I turn it on and the computer POSTs"

 

It is all or nothing.

 

This is a software issue.

I would still try PSU first, but make sure the store gives you full refund just in case.

You should step through a checklist, like:
Run CPU stress test (I use Intel Burn Test)
Run memory test (memtest x86)
Swap PSU
Swap GPU for something else

Have to just start working through a list until you find what's wrong. For me it was PSU. The GPU would run fine at idle, but crash when any gaming load was applied. It would run through vray rendering well. My 980 Ti did the same in the server, so I knew it wasn't the GPU. Once I swapped the PSU in the server with the one in my PC, no issues at all.

The GPU is only going to pull about 250W from the 12v rail, I doubt your system pulls more than 150W extra. It's possible the 12v rail on the PSU is not quite up to to the task and the card is going into lower power state.

i have my old GPU( http://www.inno3d.com/products_detail.php?refid=18 ) and it work perfetcly fine,but when i swap with this GPU its crash on load,i tryed some bad 600w PSU and its was all same,even on same sceen its crash on benchmark tool
