I'm having some weird mic issues. It's a headset (HyperX) and my desktop will detect that it's plugged in, but that's it. It won't detect sound, or play it back. My laptop actually detects the sound, but won't play it back. My phone will actually record my voice off the headset though. I can't figure out why it's doing this. I used the mic all the time a few month back, but took a break from using it. Now it just won't work. I've updated the drives, I've checked to make sure it was enabled and that there were no issues under the privacy menu. It is turned up to max, it's sensitivity on games is maxed out. I just can't get the stupid thing to work.

Any ideas?
