Analog Keyswitch Sensing Project

Hey guys,

I remember Luke's old video from 2015 talking about how the Cherry MX Board 6.0 uses RealKey technology, which uses analog circuitry rather than digital (matrix scanning) to sense whether switches have been pressed. I was wondering if this site is a good place to start designing analog-driven switches, using resistors and an A/D converter rather than a matrix-scanning topology.

I am designing small keyboards with Eagle/KiCAD to familiarize myself with PCB software, but it seems like my electronics knowledge might need some refreshers too. Thought this might be a fun little project to get my hands dirty in.

Mods please move this thread if this the wrong thread to post in.
