Ethernet Ports

Go to solution Solved by r4tch3t,

There's no difference. They should all operate at the same speed, what you want us QoS, quality of service. That way you can prioritise your connection over others and determine the maximum bandwidth to each connection (amongst other things).

Hey everyone, so does having your ethernet cable plugged into the #1 port in the modem/router increase speed or does the router spread the speed with each connection?

Going to be upgrading our Internet Speed and my roommates aren't going to help pay for it.

Appreciate it.
