Sadly no, and a GIS doesn't help because of those stupid shrouds all makers seem to want to put over that part of the motherboard.

For mobos that have integrated / on-board Wi-Fi like the Asus CH7, is it possible to change the Wi-Fi adaptor?

So if I buy a mobo with Wi-Fi 5 (ac) would I be able to change it to a Wi-Fi 6?

Thanks

Depends, some of the boards I"ve seen the wifi chip is socketed so you could, others....no. I couldn't find a pic of the wifi on the asus board so I can't say for certain.

Hmm I see, so it's something only spotted by looking at the board? not from the specs?

I kind of doubt the technical specs will list it as "removable" or "upgradeable" but it's very easy to download the spec sheet and look.

Are you looking for a motherboard with an upgradeable wifi chip?

Good question I was also hoping to upgrade to something better than the 2x2 card that comes with the ch6/7 but the shroud is in the way enough it's not easy to tell.
