Lynx Display

I have recently come across a Lynx 39" LCD/LED panel that only has PC Power, USB, SD card, audio out IR and digital output (rj45). I was hoping somebody here might have run across such a panel before and might be able to shed some light on what it is used for. Since it does not have normal inputs (HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort DVI, etc) I cannot really hook anything to it.

 

The best information I have found on it online is:

And this listing at an auction site https://www.equip-bid.com/auction/2054/item/2881?offset=30 which didn't really provide any clues to the origin or use of the device. Even Ebay only lists some of the internal components of the device.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Okay, so some very old projectors out there actually use USB to connect to a second monitor.

And you can use the projector alongside the usb monitor to make it like a dual monitor setup for an office lounge.

I know this is an old post, but did you ever get this thing to work in any capacity?

I know this is old as hell but I have to answer it; its just a barebones LCD panel for displaying advertisement or some information.
