Build help/motherboard installation

Hey folks my build is underway. However im experiencing some difficulty with motherboard installation due to foam being on the back of my I/O shield. It seems to be preventing the mobo from being aligned with the standoffs. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: forgot to add that  im building in an h500 case.

Foam I/O shields can be squished to make room for the motherboard, but also make sure the I/O shield is inserted entirely

I tried pressing the motherboard into the foam and i could only get the screw at the top left corner properly aligned.

This is how my io shield is looking now. Ive taken the mobo out a few times and will probably give it a rest for now.

those pics are blurry so it's not particularly easy to tell how far in the I/O shield is but maybe it could use some coaxing, but it looks pretty thicc so you should be able to squoosh in the motherboard.

Im  going to try to pop the io a little further out the morning . My b about the picture quality 

The io is fairly thicc. Im just a little nervous about squishing the board in.
