The Best OS ? (for SSD)

I have my HP laptop and I am going to put a SSD in it, always used windows but been recently on Linux mint. Whats the best os that will utulize a SSD of samsung.

 

or the Crucial m5 240gb

I say this because, I had a very bad Gypsie attack...they stole my wife, plow... and they touch my horse in a very bad way... he got very depressed.

any os will perform the same

it depends on what you need to do in that os

Windows 8.1 because of its fast boot times.
