[US][Amazon] DxO One iPhone Camera, $112.49

Today only, the DxO One iphone camera is crazy cheap compared to launch / current pricing. It's 112.49 with amazon prime on the daily deal.

It's a product that was not well received due to it's initial cost vs benefit since at the time you could easily grab a standalone camera with the same technology, a better zoom lens (or an actual zoom lens in this case) for the same price (at retail, it competes with the likes of the RX100). At this current price, this is a solid option to upping your photography capabilities with better ISO sensitivity thanks to the larger sensor, better depth of field thanks to the lens design / larger sensor, and relative compactness of the setup. Yes it requires an iPhone, and the company filed for bankruptcy in August, but have said the warranty's will still be honored for the time being. I have not found any reports for iPhone Xs compatibility, however, it is compatible with the iPhone x which suggest it should be. This is not a revolutionary step up from your iPhone camera in all terms. However, it can be a valuable tool for travel photography in the right hands.
